water for drinking and washing. Our local authority tests drinking water yearly (Oct 2011).

also feed our lake which is home to ducks, geese, and
visiting waterfowl. It is stocked with various species
of roach and rudd, some of them large.
Exmoor's Wimbleball Lake and Clatworthy
Reservoir (each less than 2 miles away) provide excellent brown and rainbow trout fishing.
